Merger Information
On June 29, 2014 we will complete our system conversion and extend Healthcare Family Federal Credit Union Members full access to all Patriot Federal Credit Union products and services. This page will help you understand the merger and conversion process of your existing accounts and provide you with the resources to take advantage of our innovative financial tools. Below are the answers to some of the more frequently asked questions, online links to the Merger Guide and Disclosures, as well as ways to contact us.

Since 1965, Patriot has been the financial home for thousands of members. Patriot and Healthcare Family Federal Credit Union are very similar in that both are local credit unions with a focus on member service and have demonstrated a strong commitment to the local communities. Both credit unions have highly experienced and service-oriented personnel. We welcome Healthcare Family Federal Credit Union Members to your new financial home. Healthcare Family Federal Credit Union Members can click here to login to your HFFCU Home Banking account. Please note: the HFFCU homebanking system will be in read only mode starting June 27th through July 31. After July 31, the HFFCU homebanking system will no longer be available.

Q: How long will I be able to access the HFFCU home banking system?
A: The HFFCU home banking system will be read only starting June 27 through July 1. After July 31, the HFCCU home banking system will no longer be available.

Q: What happens if I have a Direct Deposit, Automatic, or Electronic Payment?
A: All direct deposits, ACH deposits and withdrawals, automatic payments, etc. will continue to post as usual during the conversion. Click here for more detailed information in the Merger Guide.

Q: What happens if I already have a checking account?
A: Existing Healthcare Family Federal Credit Union checking accounts will be converted to Patriot's Checking Account. Click here for more detailed information in the Merger Guide.

Q: What happens if I already have a loan?
A: Your loan will be transferred to Patriot and your original loan contract will be honored and your Loan ID will remain the same.

Q: I have automatic transfers between my HFFCU accounts, will these remain in force?
A: Yes, for the most part. All internal transfers will stay the same (please see below regarding changes to Money Market Accounts). If you have an automatic transfer from your checking to your savings or a HFFCU loan payment coming out of your HFFCU checking, these will remain. Q: What will happen with my Share Certificate of Deposit?
A: Your current terms, interest rate and early withdrawal penalties will remain the same. Interest on our share certificate will post to your account quarterly based on the open date of your share certificate. Click here for more detailed information in the Merger Guide.

Q: Can I add money to an existing Share Certificate of Deposit?
A: No. If you have additional funds to deposit you will need to open a new share account. Patriot offers a wide variety of Share Certificates in which to invest your additional funds, Patriot also offers Money Market accounts, which are a great investment option that offers immediate access to your money. Q: Are there changes to my Money Market account?
A: Yes. Your account will be moved into a similar Money Market account with Patriot. As an added benefit, your dividends will now be posted to your account weekly instead of monthly. Click here for more detailed information in the Merger Guide.

Q: What happens with my Credit Life Insurance, Disability Insurance or GAP?
A: Your loan protection coverage will remain the same. Please feel free to contact a Patriot representative should you have any questions. Click here for more detailed information in the Merger Guide.

Q: Where can I access surcharge free ATMs?
A: You can access your accounts without being charged a surcharge fee at any Patriot ATM or CU$ Network ATM. Use the ATM locator on our website to find a CU$ Network ATM near you! Q: Where can I view Patriot's financials?
