Preserves the credit union's assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments and/or recovering collateral. Receives inbound and places outbound calls to members; determines and recommends civil action and/or repossession to management; process the repossession of collateral from collection of property to auction; resolves negative account balances, etc. We are looking for an experienced consumer lender to originate and decision loan applications received through our website and from local auto dealers. This position works closely with our members and auto dealer network to achieve established loan and sales goals. The right person for this job will possess extensive knowledge in non-automated loan underwriting, and will have experience working over the phone and through email. Patriot’s Mortgage Manager is responsible for the administration and direction of the Credit Union’s real estate lending program: ensuring a safe, sound and profitable mortgage loan portfolio is maintained. This position is also responsible to lead, direct, develop, motivate, and coach real estate lending and processing personnel to achieve departmental sales and service goals. Responsible for mortgage production; maximizing the department’s resources, and ensuring the department is in compliance with all regulations. Qualified candidates will be familiar with database concepts, components, practices, and procedures. You will work closely with a business analyst to modify and test changes to existing software programs and products using text-based and object-oriented design methodologies and product specifications. You will be expected to be able to independently resolve moderately complex production problems across multiple hardware platforms, software packages and programming languages. Successful candidates will possess a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a financial institution and Symitar programming. As a Service Representative, you will be expected to perform financial transactions for our members accurately and efficiently. This position is ideal for a service-oriented person. |
