April is National Financial Capability Month

President Obama proclaimed April as National Financial Capability Month as a time to "recommit to ensuring everyone has access to the information and tools that empower them to operate safely and smartly in the marketplace." His proclamation notes the activities of the President's Advisory Council on Financial Capability and points consumers to MyMoney.gov (a site maintained by the National Financial Literacy and Education Commission) and ConsumerFinance.gov (the CFPB's website) as good places for consumers to find financial information they can use.
