$250,000 SHARE INSURANCE EXTENDED

Share Insurance Protection Extended Through 2013

On May 20, 2009, President Barack Obama signed into law the Helping Families Save Their Homes Act of 2009. The act included a provision extending the $250,000 share insurance coverage, provided by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), through December 31, 2013.
