Money Orders

Money Orders are a convenient way to send money through the mail. They may be purchased at any PFCU office.

Travelers Checks

Travelers Checks are available at each PFCU office. Individual travelers checks are provided at no charge to PFCU members. Travelers checks for two are available at $.50 per $100.00.

Cashiers Checks

Cashiers Checks are a form of guaranteed funds drawn on Patriot Federal Credit Union. Funds are immediately transferred from your account during this transaction and held for guaranteed payment. Cashier checks may be purchased at any PFCU office.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Safe Deposit Boxes are currently available at the Wayne Avenue Office and the Waynesboro Financial Services Center. For pennies a day, you can be sure your valuables are safe and secure. PFCU offers the following safe deposit boxes:

Overdraft Protection

A convenient service whereby additional funds are transferred from a pre-selected account, designated by the member, to cover insufficient checks. With Overdraft Protection, there is no need, ever, to pay an Insufficient Check Charge Fee. Members receive three (3) free transfers per month.

Electronic Tax Filing

For a small fee, members may elect to file their tax return by computer rather than by mail. Members selecting this timesaving method generally receive their refunds, via direct deposit, in as little as 10 days.

Loose Coin Counting

Coin counting machines are available in both the Wayne Avenue, Chambersburg, and Waynesboro Financial Services Center offices. For a nominal fee, members no longer need to spend valuable time wrapping loose coin. The coin counting machine makes saving loose coin easier than ever.

VISA® Gift Card

PFCU's VISA® Gift Cards are the perfect gift idea for any gift-giving occasion. The Gift Cards are the size of a credit card and work like a gift certificate. VISA Gift Cards are safer than giving cash, because any unspent amount can be replaced, should the Card be lost or stolen. Gift Card recipients may use the card to make purchases online, by phone, or in person, anywhere VISA debit cards are accepted. Gift Card purchases, up to the amount of your gift, are automatically deducted from the card's available balance. Gift Cards ranging from $25 to $500 may be funded directly from your PFCU account. The cost will be just $3.95 plus the funded amount.
