Patriot Federal Credit Union, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kim Shockey of Waynesboro, as a Retail Business Development Officer. Shockey has more than 20 years of banking experience, with particular emphasis on sales strategies, lead generation and business development. Before joining Patriot, Shockey was a Retail and Small Business Leader at BB&T Bank, Greencastle.
“Kim brings a lot of passion and commitment to the community we serve,” said Brittany Whiteside, Director of Member Service at Patriot. “Her local knowledge coupled with years of experience helping small businesses and consumers improve their financial health, makes Kim an exceptional addition to our member service team.”

Shockey is active in the community, serving on the board of directors of Quincy Village and Green Hill Cemetery Association, Waynesboro and the 2018/2019 Campaign Chairperson, Franklin County United Way. She received the 2017 YMCA Building Strong Communities Award and was the 2009 Waynesboro Business Person of the Year. Kim is a native of Franklin County and lives in lives in Waynesboro with her husband Dennis. They have two grown children, son Bradley and daughter, Emily and four grandchildren.
