Patriot Branch Manager Niki Sheppard presented Patriot’s donation to Don Clapper, Chairman, Board of Supervisors, Guilford Township.
Patriot Federal Credit Union recently donated $10,000 to the Norlo Park Foundation, a non-profit administered by the Guilford Township Supervisors, to install a new 8′ home run softball field outfield fence. Patriot provided funding for the fence and Guildford Township employees installed the fence.
“We’re pleased to support this project and the Norlo Park Foundation,” said Brad R. Warner, President/CEO of Patriot. “Norlo Park is a community asset that provides state-of the-art facilities for area residents. We’re happy to support efforts that enhance the overall quality of life in our community.”
Norlo Park sits on more than 140 acres of former farmland and offers area residents access to picnic pavilions, five (5) softball fields, tennis and basketball courts, walking trails, a children’s recreation area; train rides and a very popular display of historic Pennsylvania Railroad equipment and buildings.
“We’d like to thank Patriot for their support,” said Don Clapper, Chairman, Board of Supervisors, Guilford Township. “These softball fields are busy all summer and we’re glad to be able to make these kinds of improvements with the help of local sponsors like Patriot.”
