Patriot has committed to a multi-year pledge in support of a $7 million non-profit therapy center for children with special needs, called LEG UP FARM, Franklin County. LEG UP FARM Franklin County is scheduled to begin site work in the spring 2019, Guilford Township.
The York County, Pennsylvania-based organization has secured a $1 million Redevelopment Assistance Grant with help of local business and government leaders. A fundraising campaign for the remaining funds needed to build the facility in Franklin County, is underway. Developers of the Penn National community donated 14 acres to build the facility. Once completed it will be able to offer equine-facilitated occupational, speech, nutrition, aquatic and other therapies to families and children with special needs.
