Established in 1965, Patriot Federal Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, democratically owned and run by its members. The credit union is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, elected by the membership. Ronald Celaschi is Chief Executive Officer.
Community Charter
You are eligible to join if you live, attend school, worship, work or even if you regularly conduct business in: Franklin County, PA; Frederick County, MD; Washington County, MD; or the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia – Berkeley, Jefferson, and Morgan counties. Your Credit Union membership is for life, regardless of whether you change jobs, move, or retire. Wherever you go or whatever you do, you can access your financial products and services at Patriot Federal Credit Union by mail, phone, fax, email, internet, mobile device, and a nationwide network of ATMs.

CEO
Ronald “Ron” Celaschi – President/Chief Executive Officer
Ron has more than 32 years in the credit union movement. During his career, he spent over 14 years at the Pennsylvania Credit Union Association (PCUA), where he was a senior planning consultant for members of the credit union league. He served as CEO of Frick Tri-County Federal Credit Union (2005-2008), Vice President – Lending and Senior Vice President – Lending and Operations before being named President/CEO at Clearview Federal Credit Union (2018-2023). He joined Patriot in April 2023.
Ron earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in business administration/finance, and a Master’s degree in business administration from California University of Pennsylvania. An active community servant, he has served on the board of directors of Junior Achievement of Western Pennsylvania, and has been involved as a volunteer youth soccer coach. Ron currently sits on the board of trustees of the Credit Union Legislative Action Council (CULAC) – the federal political action committee of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), and previously was active on the membership committee of the CUNA Lending Council, Pittsburgh Chapter of Credit Unions on which he served as president and on the board of directors.
