How does an ATM/debit card work?

A debit card, or check card, works like a credit card to make purchases wherever VISA is accepted. The ATM/debit card is attached to your primary Patriot checking account. You can choose to sign for your purchase or enter your PIN and you can use the card at ATMs to check account balances, withdrawal cash, transfer funds and more. Transactions are limited to available balances plus any linked account transfers.
