Patriot Helps Students Navigate Real-World Finances at CASHS Reality Fair

Patriot Federal Credit Union recently participated in the Fall 2026 Financial Reality Fair at Chambersburg Area Senior High School (CASHS), helping more than 300 students gain hands-on experience with real-world budgeting and financial decision-making.
During the interactive simulation, students selected a career and worked through various financial decisions based on their income. Students visited different living expense booths, including housing, food, clothing, cell phone plans, internet and streaming services, and fraud prevention, to better understand the costs and responsibilities that come with managing their finances.
More than 37 Patriot volunteers helped guide students through the experience, offering insight and encouragement as they navigated everyday financial choices.
