Supporting Fire Safety Education in Waynesboro

Patriot Federal Credit Union is proud to support the Waynesboro Volunteer Fire Department (WVFD) with a $1,000 donation toward the purchase of an LED Fire Extinguisher Training Simulator.
This innovative simulator will be used during community public relations events and training seminars to educate individuals on how to properly operate a fire extinguisher during an emergency using the PASS technique — Pull, Aim, Squeeze, and Sweep.
Representing Patriot Federal Credit Union during the presentation were Sarah Stansfield and Evana Giannini, who joined WVFD Operations and Administration Officers to celebrate the partnership and the positive impact this training tool will have within the community.
The simulator project has already received tremendous community support, and the WVFD is now over halfway to its fundraising goal. Patriot is honored to contribute to initiatives that promote education, preparedness, and public safety throughout the communities we serve.
